Melody had an important meeting today. She had been hearing a lot of buzz going around about these sygnasuits, however she wanted a deeper understanding of sygnasuits as a whole before she dipped her toes into them. [break][break]

and of course whenever there was a new battle strategy, one could be sure Fernando was already informed on the strategy. Primarina entered the restaurant, using one of her fins to keep the door open for Melody as she walked in and spoke to the hostess about a reservation she had made for her and Fernando in the private VIP section of the restaurant. [break][break]

When the hostess went to go prepare Melody stood idly in the lobby. She really needed to stop hanging around people that left a sour taste in her mouth. Yet they proved to be useful for her own purposes.

THE HOSTESS RETURNS SHORTLY. ‘he’s already here,’ they inform melody, asking if she’s expecting a large party.

the private room for them is occupied by several people. fernando sits at the far end, casually conversing while others scour over papers and tablets. half eaten food and empty plates are scattered along the table. it becomes apparent that they’ve been here long—long enough to finish a meal—and have been left to their own devices.

whatever they’re discussing, it proves impossible to hear. the glass walls promise them a privacy that only reveals what the eyes can see. when fernando spots her, he mouths something that causes the rest to rise and gather their things.

She says as melody was absolutely confused by the situation. Was she...wrong? Was there a hotpot invitation she missed? She watches them all clear out of the room. [break][break]

"Did..Did I come at the wrong time?" she asks wondering what exactly was going on. Primarina couldn't read the room and slides through the door before standing on it's hind fins and putting it's hands in the air as she waves to Fernando.

those in attendance bid their farewells. some with ‘sounds good’ others with idle comments on what meeting they have to meet next. they pay melody little attention, or even recognition, except one who whispers something about ‘pop star melody’.

“you’re a bit earlier than expect,” fernando answers now that his guest are gone. “but that’s perfectly fine.”

until his eyes fall onto the table.

“but perhaps another room is in order.”

There was another meeting going on before hand? Well that at least explained why there were so many people there.[break][break]

"If that's ok with you then yes, I'd prefer a new room. I'm not sure if you still have an appetite but I am hungry." she says as she looks over to the hostess who preps another area for them that should be cleared for the high profile clients.[break][break]

She sits down as Primarina wiggles her way over to Melody and starts to look at the menu and points at several pictures. Melody deliberates a bit over what to order for the two of them to share as Melody didn't want to eat very much. Unless she'd incur the wrath of her sword teacher Gwyar Wledig. [break][break]

"So. How much do you know about Sygnasuits? I came to ask you about them as I wanted to understand them a little more."

She clears her throat, her leg seemingly bouncing nonstop to compensate for the fact she hated to look people in the eye if she didn't have a good history with them. Convenient that both people she couldn't look at had the last name Silph. "I've heard that they cancel out an avatar's ability when worn by one...but seeing as how I'm not an avatar it may help equal the playing field if I were to have one and had to fight with an avatar." [break][break]

As his eyes bleed into hers, her mind wanders back to the scene at Mt Pyre. declan walsh 's words piercing into her chest and causing fear to take root inside of it. "I fought against Declan Walsh on Mt Pyre. He escaped before I could finish him off, A sygnasuit could have been the difference in me catching him." she says as she remembers how he vanished, becoming one with the permanent mist that covers the area.

HER WORDS, AND FURTHERMORE, HER INTENT, FORCES HIM INTO SILENCE. it’s a request he mulls over for far too long. enough to disrupt the conversation. enough to instill an image of hesitance. whether it stems from an idea of abstaining or a lack of a proper answer—fernando betrays neither.

“they work similar to MEGA EVOLUTION,” is an apt explanation on his end. the specifics diverge but the main idea parallels well enough.

“which means you need a CRYSTABLOOM HEART to serve as your MEGA STONE.”

"A crystal bloom heart..." she says idly as Primarina tried to interrupt the conversation by shouting into Melody's face. Melody gets annoyed for a second "Yes! You CAN HAVE IT!!" she chastizes the pokemon, but instead of being sadden by her trainer shouting. Primarina lets our a small victory cheer. [break][break]

She pats Primarina on the head in an attempt to calm her down. "Like a mega stone..so basically I need to find one? Damn I should have taken one of those flowers when CIAN MAHER and I were observing those crystal blooms together." she says wondering where exactly she could even find one?
